Schism of the Three
The renowned Schism of the Three took place in the late Sixth Kingdom and early Seventh Kingdom. The Schism of the Three started when church leaders started to interpret the Book of Ia in different ways. The first interpretation was written down as Truth Through Destruction. After Truth Through Destruction was finished, it was used as a holy canon for what is now the Church of the Destroyer and once it was discovered, two more canons were created: Being as Creation and The Path of Equality, which were later employed as holy canons for the Church of the Creator and Scales of the Preserver, respectively. The different interpretations caused multiple social upheavals among church members, leaders, and even everyday worshipers.
Once the new canons were created, and all the social upheavals settled down, three sub-sects of the Church of the Three were created: the Church of the Creator, Scales of the Preserver, and the Church of the Destroyer.
